In many cases it has been experienced that name, and date of birth may be changed in a later stage to avoid difficulties of mismatch of data with Adhaar and PAN. In such circumstances, there is an online option to rectify your ECHS Data for any members within your family.
Ensure the data you want to rectify is exactly as mentioned in Service Records held with your Record Office / Service HQ. If you want to change data in service record kindly follow the process mentioned in another article.
Once you received the Part-II Order/ POR from your service HQ or Record Office, you may proceed with the steps below:-
Step by step process of Change of Data of ECHS Card online
Step-1 – Login to the Online ECHS Service Portal – https://echs.sourceinfosys.com/ . If not registered earlier, register using your ECHS card details.
Step – II – Now click on more option as marked above and You will find a Tab “ Block card”. Click on this tab and you will find the list of all members of your family. Now select the card you want to block.
Step –III – Now you will find the main menu option. If not, again go to the “More options” and then click on “change data” tab. Now a list of all the members will appear. Once you select the name of concerned member for whom data required to be changed, the form containing data field will appear. Now put the new data, upload document and pay fees. After few weeks, your new card will be generated. Till receipt of new card, you may continue with temporary slip.
