A Seminar cum Exhibition on “Historical Patterns of Indian Strategic Culture” was held at the National Museum, New Delhi as part of Project #Udbhav, a joint collaboration between #IndianArmy & United Service Institution of India
The Hon’ble Raksha Rajya Mantri (RRM) Shri Ajay Bhatt was the Chief Guest at the event.
Gen Manoj Pande #COAS delivered the Special Address wherein he highlighted the outcomes through various endeavours under Project #Udbhav and brought out that projects to explore our military heritage for drawing relevant lessons should be a continuous process for the future.
The event, attended by #LtGenUpendraDwivedi #VCOAS and other Senior Officers, Veterans alongwith distinguished scholars and researchers, represented a concerted effort to uphold & leverage relevant facets of India’s military heritage in addressing contemporary security challenges.
Through rigorous research, scholarly engagement and collaboration, Project #Udbhav aimed at charting a path towards innovative and culturally relevant approaches to defence and strategic thinking, as reflected in the engaging panel discussion held as part of the event.
A thoughtfully curated Exhibition on ‘Evolution of Indian Military Systems’ was also inaugurated by the Hon’ble RRM. The exhibition comprises of vivid depiction of Indian Military Heritage and rendition of martial songs and movie by folk artists. The exhibition will remain open at the National Museum, New Delhi for public visits over the next ten days.
