Good News from PCDA SPARSH for all Defence Pensioners

SPARSH is dedicatedly functioning for management of Defence Pension including pension and pensionary benefit of Exservicemen, Armed Forces Family Pensioners and defence civilians. It has successfully migrated approx 32 lakhs of pensioners in to the system and effectively managing the pension sanction, disbursement and data management. It is true that the Grievance mechanism system is yet to be established effectively. Some pensioners has reported in various social media that , once lodged a grievance, after a few days he received a msg that his grievance has been closed but he did not receive any solution or response from the SPARSH.

Whenever we caontacted the Nodal officers of the Team SPARSH, they have communicated that the Grievane redressal mechanism is yet to be established effectively but due to lack of manpower, it is getting delayed and very soon, everything will be in order. So, we may expect that the Grievance redressal mechanism and service request disposal on SPARSH Portal will be in order very soon.

You might have noticed that once you visit the SPARSH Portal, a pop up widow appreas mentioning the following :-

As per the Rules, annual identification / life certificate is required to be submitted by all pensioners in order to get the pension continued. Complying the rules and orders, team sparsh has alsso introduced the Life Certificate Submission process to SPARSH on various methods as applicable and direccted by the Govt so that the elders and less previleged citizens also can submit the Life Certificate in the easiest way. Unfortunbately, it has been seen that a large number of family pensioners and some veterans also have failed to submit their life certificat to the SPARSH till date.

When analysed, it has been found that most of them have submitted the life certificate to their concerned bank, but due to adopting incorrect system of submission of life certificate by the bank officials, their Life certificate has not been submitted to the SPARSH. As a result they are suffering.

However, the Defence Prnsion authority has now extended the last date of submission of Life certificate due as on Nov 2023 is upto June 2024. So, those who have received msg that your identiticateion is due, they all are requested to submit life certificate to the SPARSH using various means as mentioned in the SPARSH Portal and alsso clarified in details in our website.
