What is Madrasa – A madrasa is an Islamic educational institution, often seen in predominantly Muslim countries. It provides education primarily focused on Islamic studies, including the Quran, Hadith (sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad), Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), theology (aqidah), and Arabic language.
Depending on the specific madrasa and its curriculum, additional subjects such as mathematics, science, history, and literature may also be taught, but the primary emphasis is on religious education.
