Life certificate for the year 2024 is already due for 33 lakh Defence penioners. Among them more than 96% pensioners have already been migrated to SPARSH and they can submit their life certificate directly to SPARSH Portal, no need to proceed through Jeevan Praman.
It has been observed that, more than 60% Defence pensioners have already been submitted their Life certificate using Jeevn Praman or direct to SPARSH using biometric(DLC) / MLC process. Those who are still waiting for submission of life certificate whether drawing pension from Bank or migrated to SPARSH need not to wait till last date. On failure of submission of Life certificate within du date, your pension may be paused which creats unexpected hazard in life.
