Defence Quota MBBS Admission : Application Process Announced for 2025

Ministry of Defence, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare , Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB) has issued a circular on 22 July 2025 regarding MBBS admission in Defence Quota.

✅ Purpose:

The Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB) has circulated the Google application form for the allotment of MBBS/BDS seats under the Central Pool Quota for the academic year 2025–26.

🧑‍⚕️ Who is Eligible?

  • Wards of Defence Personnel and Ex-Servicemen (ESM)

🏥 About the Central Pool Quota:

  • A certain number of MBBS & BDS seats are allocated each year by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) to the Ministry of Defence under the Central Pool Quota.
  • The Kendriya Sainik Board is entrusted with allotting these seats to eligible applicants.

📜 Basis of Selection:

  • A merit list is prepared by KSB.
  • Selection is based on:
    • Inter-se merit
    • Reservation policy issued by MoD/Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (MoD/DESW)
    • As per Office Memorandum F.No.6(1)/2017/D(Res-II) dated 21 May 2018

  • As the KSB website is currently under maintenance, application forms cannot be uploaded there.

✅ Alternate Method:

  • Applications are to be submitted online via Google Forms.
