50% Discount for Exservicemen and Soldiers Declared by Govt : HPTDC

Ex-servicemen and Soldiers have been honoured for their sacrifice and extraordinary contribution for the nation. Most of the state govt has not allowed to appear for the Govt Exams other than Gp D/ Peon level. In other hand, Some states have honoured the Exservicemen to participate in state civil services exams duly reserved some vacancies for them. In this article we have produced a letter issued by HPTDC regarding discount of state tourism department owned Hotel and Tourist places.

OFFICE ORDER

It has been decided that whenever an officer/ official of Defence personnel (Army, Navy. Air Force) who are in service, ex-servicemen and accredited media persons in private/ official capacity stays in HPTDC Hotels, following discount will be applicable on room rent and food part:

The following conditions shall be applicable :

  1. Beneficiaries must produce their valid identity card during check-in to avail the aforesaid discount.
  2. This discount will not be applicable on banqueting, conference & marriage parties.
  3. The above discount shall be applicable to only one beneficiary at a time, if they are accompanying each other in a hotel.
  4. Only one discount will be applicable at a time, whichever is higher.
  5. This discount will only be applicable to beneficiaries during his/her own stay at HPTDC Hotels maximum on two rooms only.
  6. This discount will not be applicable during Lavi mela at Rampur in the month of November, during Manimahesh yatra at HPTDC Hotel Gaurikund, Bharmour w.e.f. 23rd August to 20th September, during Minjar fair in HPTDC Chamba Complex, during Chheshu festival at Hotel Tourist Inn, Rewalsar w.e.f. 15th to 20th February & during Christmas and New Year Eve w.e.f. 23rd to 31st December.
  7. The above mentioned discount will only be applicable to the beneficiaries, if the payments are made through online modes such as UPI, debit/credit cards & internet banking.
  8. In case any misuse of this facility by any above mentioned beneficiaries is found, such beneficiary will be debarred for availing this discount facility in future.
  9. Taxes as applicable will be charged extra.
