Ministry of Defence has introduced new and simplified system of online claim submission of bills for re-imbursement for ECHS beneficiaries. Now you can submit your ECHS claim for purchase of medicine , medical equipment, OPD doctors consultation at Pvt hospital and admission bills of pvt hospital.
Who can submit bills to claim reimbursement
All ECHS beneficiaries are eligible to submit bills for purchase of NA medicines, consultation fees at pvt hospital and hospital admission. You can submit bills for re-imbursement every month as per details below :-
- 8 Pharmacy bills
- 4 OPD bills
- 4 IPD Bills
How to submit online claim at ECHS for re-imbursement of Bills
Now it is so simple to submit ECHS bills using your smart phone or computer follow the steps given below :
Step 1 : Click on this link :

Step 2 : Put your 12 digit ECHS Card number and Registered Mobile number. Now click on send OTP button. You will receive OTP in your registered mobile phone. Put the OTP on the next screen and click on submit. List of documents required are mentioned in this page.
Step 3 : Now you ar on members claim page. Click on the members claim and various options of claim appeared here. Click on new claim for a fresh and new claim. If you left any claim pending, you may click on pending for submission claim button. Once you clicked on New Claim button, you may see three option for type of bills – 1. OPD, 2. Pharmacy 3. IPD . For any NA medicine bill claim, click on pharmacy and press the submit button. A claim ID will be generated and your profile will be shown at patient details. Now click on pharmacy details.
Step 4: In pharmacy details, you should put the details of hospital treated and date of treatment. Now click on save and continue
Step 5 : Now click on bill details and fill up all details regarding cost of medicines etc and click on save and continue.
Step 6 : Now you are on upload documents page. You need to upload scanned copy of all related documents i.e ECHS Card, Bill, Cancelled Cheque, Contingent bill, Prescription etc. list of document required are given in this page. After successful uploading of all documents, click on save and continue button and put the bank details.
Step 7 : In bank details page you should give all the bank related info i.e account number, ifsc, branch code, bank address etc. then press on save and continue button. After this you will be prompted for Final submit page.
Online ECHS Claim for NA medicine is complete now. Follow the next step.
