EX-SERVICEMEN GET GRADUATION DEGREE FROM ANDHRA UNIVERSITY : APPLICATION PROCESS AND FORM DOWNLOAD

It has been observed that a large number of ex-servicemen are capable enough to get good post in Govt, PSU and corporate world. Due to non possessing of Minimum educational degree i.e Graduation, they are not accepted by the organizations/departments. To overcome this resistance and towards a better 2^nd innings for the veterans, Indian Armed Forces and Andhra university has came in to an agreement that, on the basis of experience gained by the Armed forces personnel in the entire service period , they may get Graduation degree –i.e BA in Human Resource management – BA (HRM).

In 2021, MoU was signed between KSB and Andhra University for the welfare of ESM. SOP regarding details of course, who can apply and modalities which have been discussed in this article.

The next course of application for BA (HRM) for the Ex Army, Navy & Air Force personnel has already been started and you need to send your application to concerned RSB by end of this month. A detailed application process and form can be downloaded as link given at the end of this article.

Overview of the Graduation Degree for Non Graduate Ex-servicemen

10th and 12th Board pass ESM may get Graduation Degree from the UGC recognised Andhra University without facing any Examination or reading any books. This Certificate will help you to get better job and promotion.

Who are eligible to apply for the Graduation Degree

Rank and Trade : Only ESM can apply. Serving soldiers cant apply for the post. No restriction of Rank. All non graduate Officers, JCOs and OR subject to fulfill other conditions may apply for the degree.

Service length : Ex-servicemen should have completed minimum 15 yrs of Armed Forces Service.

Cut off date of Retirement : The Exservicemen retired on or after 01/01/2010 are only eligible. ESM who have retired before this date are not eligible to apply.

Minimum Education Qualification : All who have joined defence Service after passing 10th and 12th Board exams and have certificate, can apply. Those who do not have 10th class qualification can not apply.

How To Apply For Graduation Degree From Andhra University

Download Application Form: Download the application form available in pdf format and get printed 3 copies of this form. Fill up the form in Capital Letters duly signed and scan the Form.

Documents to be enclosed alongwith application form Graduation Degree From Andhra University

1. PPO : Scan copy of SPARSH/Original PPO or download your PPO form SPARSH.

2. Discharge Book : Only first two pages. Make a Photocopy of these pages and put your signature and scan it in pdf format.

3. Military Qualification : Self attested photo copies of all Service Qualification Certificates i.e Class-I or II or III, AEC, ACE, MR etc. Scan all these in a single pdf file.

4. Civil Educational Certificates: Self attested photo copies of all Service Qualification Certificates. Prepare scan copies.

5. Special Service Certificate for Education, if any . Scan copy to be uploaded.

6. ZSB ID Card : Scan copy of both sides in pdf.

7. Photo : One recently taken passport size self photo. Scan in Jpeg format.

8. Fees Payment Receipts : Make Two payments as details below through Bank Or Online. Keep scan copies of payment proofs.

(i) Payment one : ₹ 12500/- to be paid as course fees to the Account of Andhra University.

(ii) Payment Two : ₹ 500/- to be paid to the Account of RSB as processing charges and for the Books.

How to Submit application for award of Graduation Certificate

Now Email all scan copies of all above mentioned documents to RSB to the Email ID to be obtained from the RSB concerned.

Points to be remembered

You DON’T HAVE TO VISIT ZSB/RSB. Don’t have to get any documents signed. Don’t have to Submit any hard copies of documents at ZSB or RSB.

Process of award of Marks & preparation of Mark sheet

RSB will conduct a Board of officers to give marks to all valid Applications. Further, they will upload all required documents into Andhra University web portal.

Award of Mark sheet and Certificate

RSB will handover Graduation Degree Certificates to all successful candidates, when received from Andhra University.

Last date to Apply for award of Graduation Certificate

Last of application for Graduation Certificate with mark sheet is 20/11/2024 for the year 2024. For Next year, you may apply any time before November 2024. If any extension of date, same will be intimated later.
