यह कार्ड आपके wife, son, daughter, या dependent parents के लिए ज़रूरी होता है जब वे किसी defence establishment में जाते हैं या defence quota में किसी education, job reservation, या अन्य सुविधा का लाभ लेना चाहते हैं।
इसलिए हर ex-serviceman को अपने परिवार के dependents के लिए यह card बनवाना चाहिए — ताकि वे Defence से जुड़ी सभी facilities, canteen benefits, welfare schemes और reservation advantages का लाभ ले सकें।

Dependent I-Card एक आधिकारिक पहचान पत्र है जो Zila Sainik Board (ZSB) या Zila Sainik Welfare Office (ZSWO) द्वारा ex-servicemen के family members को जारी किया जाता है।
यह कार्ड यह साबित करता है कि holder एक bonafide dependent है किसी ex-serviceman का, और वह defence परिवार के लिए उपलब्ध कुछ सुविधाओं का हकदार है।

- Discharge Book / PPO (Pension Payment Order)
