The Directorate General, National Cadet Corps (DGNCC), under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has officially notified a large-scale recruitment of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) for engagement as Contractual Principal Instructor (PI) Staff under the NCC Expansion Plan.

 Pay, Allowances & Service Benefits

💰 Monthly Remuneration (All-Inclusive)

  • JCO (PI): ₹45,000
  • NCO (PI): ₹35,000

📈 Other Benefits

  • Annual Increment: 3%
  • Leave Entitlement: 1.5 days per month
  • Medical Facilities: As entitled to Ex-Servicemen
  • Mandatory Training: 14–21 days
  • Accommodation: Self-arranged

 Tenure, Extension & Age Limit

  • Initial Contract Period: 2–3 years
  • Extension: 11 months at a time (performance-based)
  • Probation: First 3 months

🎂 Maximum Age Limit

  • JCO: Up to 56 years
  • NCO: Up to 54 years

Eligibility Conditions (Must Read Carefully)

An applicant must fulfill all of the following:

✔️ Retired on or after 31 March 2023
✔️ Gap after retirement not exceeding 3 years
✔️ Medical Category SHAPE-1 at the time of discharge
✔️ Character: EXEMPLARY
✔️ No red ink entries in last 5 years of service
✔️ No involvement in moral turpitude or financial irregularities

❌ Personnel discharged under AR-13, AR-14 or similar provisions are NOT eligible.

🔹 Preference will be given to:

  • Instructor experience holders
  • Category ‘A’ / ‘B’ trained personnel
  • ESM with professional or instructional courses

  • Current Medical Fitness Certificate (ECHS / Civil Surgeon)
  • EPF Form-11
  • Insurance Declaration (AGIF)
  • Honours & Awards (if any)
  • Passport size photograph (≤ 50 KB)
