After OROP 2 and 7th CPC revision, pension of the Defence personnel have been reached a limit which may fall under Income Tax. Pensioners who are falling under the taxable income slab as mentioned in this article may upload their Income tax Declaration regarding eligible deduction supported by documentary proof. Either, TDS may be deducted accordingly.
To submit online declaration for income tax on SPARSH Portal, you may follow the process mentioned below :-
First of all visit the official website of SPARSH Pension System at https://sparsh.defencepension.gov.in and please follow the following steps.
Log in to the SPARSH portal with your user ID and password After this, a password will be sent to the mobile number entered in SPARSH, enter it –
After login, your SPARSH account will be opened. Now you will see an option – “Service Request” (on the left side of the screen). Click on Service Request and a dropdown box will open with “Investment Details” option. Click on “Rebate in Income Status” :-
After that, follow the mentioned flow:-
(a) Upload supporting documents ===
(b) Select investment declaration ===
(c) Click on submit button ===
(d) A token number will appear on the screen and note it down to check in future Uploaded documents.
Click on save, PCDA (P) will verify that your process is complete.
