Ayush Treatment in ECHS : Govt Decision

It is well accepted that  acute diseases, especially life-threatening conditions or severe infections, allopathic medicine is generally more effective due to its quick action and scientific evidence base.

According to experiences of thousands of years of Indian society, Ayurveda can be beneficial for supportive care and long-term health, focusing on holistic well-being and natural remedies that may take longer to show results.

It is proven that a complementary approach, where both systems are used together (integrative medicine), can sometimes offer the best of both worlds, providing quick relief along with long-term health benefits.

Ultimately, the choice between Ayurveda and allopathic medicine should depend on the specific condition, the urgency of the treatment required, and the patient’s preference. It’s always advisable to consult healthcare professionals who are well-versed in both systems to make informed decisions.

Considering the facts above, people are now interested to opt the Ayush Treatment, i.e Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani , Siddhai etc. ECHS has also introduced the Ayush system but some controversies raised in this regard.
