Today, 27th September observed as DGQA Day by the Govt of India, Ministry of Defence. The Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA), functioning under the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence (MoD), Government of India, plays a pivotal role in strengthening the operational readiness of the Armed Forces. The Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA) is a premier organization of the Ministry of Defence entrusted with:
