📍 Rallying Call: “23 जुलाई 2025 को दिल्ली चलो, चलो दिल्ली!”
In a bold and united stand, thousands of ex-servicemen from across the country are expected to gather in Delhi on 23rd July 2025 (Wednesday) to press for their long-standing demands, including Actual One Rank One Pension (OROP), fair pay fixation for re-employed personnel, and equal treatment and rights for Jawans at par with officers.
🔴 Protest Highlights
- Date of Protest: 23rd July 2025 (Wednesday)
- Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Venue: Jantar Mantar, New Delhi
- March to Parliament: Starts at 12:00 PM after the protest
- Assembly Point: Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, 9:00 AM
📣 Organiser: साबका सैनिक संघर्ष समिति (India)
The protest is being organized by the Sabka Sainik Sangharsh Committee, a national body of retired soldiers, who have taken a pledge to fight until justice is served for the jawans of India.
🔍 Core Demands of the Agitation:
- ✅ Actual Implementation of OROP
- Veterans claim that the current OROP implementation is flawed and partial.
- They demand equal pension for equal service and rank, irrespective of retirement year.
- ✅ Fair Pay Fixation for Re-Employed Jawans
- The committee strongly condemns the denial of pay fixation benefits to re-employed ex-servicemen (PBORs) under civil services, PSUs, and banks.
- A demand for implementation of DoPT & DFS guidelines in true spirit.
- ✅ Equality Between Jawans and Officers
- Veterans are demanding an end to the discriminatory policies that favour commissioned officers over jawans in areas like pension, allowances, status, and facilities.
- Equal dignity, recognition, and benefits are being demanded for all soldiers regardless of rank.
- ✅ Restoration of Respect & Status of Armed Forces
- The protest aims to highlight erosion of the military’s status, especially at junior levels.
- A call for constitutional protection for the dignity and welfare of armed forces personnel.
🔥 Slogans to Echo at the Protest:
- “जवान एकता जिंदाबाद, जिंदाबाद!”

Veterans and families have been urged to reach Delhi in large numbers to ensure their collective voice is heard in Parliament and beyond.

🛑 Why This Protest Matters
This protest is not just about pensions. It is a larger movement demanding justice, parity, and dignity for jawans who dedicate their lives to the nation. Over the years, several anomalies and policy gaps have deeply affected retired PBORs (Personnel Below Officer Rank), leading to mass dissatisfaction and unrest in the veteran community.
📢 Final Words:
The Sabka Sainik Sangharsh Committee urges every retired soldier, especially JCOs and ORs, to rise in unity and participate in this historic protest. The message is clear:
