Retirement ya discharge hone ke baad, ex-servicemen ko unki service ke liye pension milti hai, aur unke death ke baad unki family ko Family Pension milti hai.
Agar koi ex-serviceman re-employment (dobara sarkari naukri) le leta hai, to use current office se salary aur Defence authority se military pension dono milte hain.
Jab wo re-employed ex-serviceman Government service se retire ho jata hai, tab wo civil pension + military pension dono ka haqdar hota hai.
Lekin pehle kya rule tha:
Aise retired re-employed ex-serviceman ke death ke baad, unki family ko sirf ek Ordinary Family Pension choose karna padta tha — ya to military side se ya phir civil side se.
Yeh provision Ministry ke letter dated 28.09.1992 aur Rule 54 (13-A) & Rule 54 (13-B) of CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972 ke under tha.
