CNG Stations Scheme for Ex Servicemen

Exservicemen are experienced in man management hence they are suitable to operate any kind of business organisation.  In order consider this facts, besides the PSU and Govt Organisations, Corporate world is also hiring them with good pay and perks. 

DGR has introduced so many schemes to provide livelihood support for the ESM. The scheme for management of CNG stations of IGL is currently run on “Company Owned Company Operated” (COCO) outlets of IGL in National Capital Region (NCR). Retired Defence Service Officers registered with DGR are sponsored to IGL who in turn select operators through a Board of Officers for management of CNG stations.

The selected retired defence officer is then contracted for management of the CNG station by the IGL on a yearly renewable contractual basis for a maximum period of 5 years (based on performance appraisal by IGL).

Note this point :- The EMS(O) who are already registered in DGR for CNG Scheme can send their willingness for this requisition. Further ESM(O) who are not registered in the said Scheme, thereafter they can also send their willingness.

Application Procedure.ESM (Officers) who are eligible may opt for the CNG scheme by filling the common registration form as per DGR registry procedure.

Submission of Documents on Selection. ESM(O)s will be required to submit the following documents to DGR prior to allotment of CNG station :-

  • Affidavit (on Rs 100/- Non Judicial Stamp Paper duly attested by first class Magistrate as per format. View
  • Attested copy of Income tax return and AS-26 form for previous financial year.

Submission of Documents after Allotment of CNG Station. Income tax return and form AS-26 is required to be submitted every year to DGR till the ESM (O) continues to operate CNG Station.
