The issue regarding deduction on account of commutation of pension for the State and Central civil and military services is now under judicial consideration. A number of court cases/ Tribunal appeal has been filed to sought relief in this regard to stop dedution from pension on account of recovery for commuted value of pension after 10 years 8 months from date of pension started.
Recently Chandigarh High Court has passed interim order and directed stay on recovery from pension on account of commutation.
