Eligibility Conditions
Nationality
Must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit
18 to 24/27 years as on the last date of receipt of application (post-wise). Age relaxation applicable as per Government of India rules.
Educational Qualification
Minimum 10th / 12th standard pass or ITI / equivalent, as specified for each post.
Other Requirements
Typing skill required for LDC and Hindi Typist posts. A valid Driving Licence is mandatory for the Driver post.
Selection Process
Written Examination — An objective/descriptive test assessing general knowledge, reasoning, and trade-specific aptitude.
Skill / Practical Test — Applicable for select posts (e.g., typing test for LDC/Hindi Typist, driving test for Driver). Qualifying in nature.
Document Verification — Original certificates, mark sheets, caste/disability certificates, and other supporting documents will be verified before final selection.
How to Apply
Obtain the prescribed application format from the official website: airforce.nic.in (Careers).
Fill in the form completely and attach self-attested copies of all required certificates, mark sheets, a recent photograph, and a self-addressed envelope.
Superscribe the envelope clearly: “Application for the post of ___________”
Send the application by Ordinary Post to the concerned Air Force Station / Unit address as specified in the detailed notification.
Ensure the application reaches before the last date. Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted under any circumstances.
