Retirement Planning for Ex-Servicemen & Pensioners | SIP vs SWP | Monthly Income from Retirement Corpus
| SIP | SWP |
| Systematic Investment Plan | Systematic Withdrawal Plan |
SIP = पैसा धीरे–धीरे जमा करना
SWP = जमा/invested money से धीरे–धीरे income लेना
Example
यानी annual withdrawal लगभग 7.2% of ₹15 lakh होगा।
- Expected return
- Inflation
- Monthly withdrawal
- Tax liability
6–8% Withdrawal Rule
- Investment return
- Inflation
- Retirement
- Life expectancy
- Asset allocation
- Market volatility
- Taxation
- अन्य pension/income sources
- Emergency expenses
Ex-Servicemen के retirement benefits में pension, gratuity, leave encashment, provident fund या अन्य retirement-related receipts शामिल हो सकते हैं, depending on the individual’s service and applicable rules.
1. Emergency Fund
2. Regular Income
3. Long-Term Growth
4. Family & Legacy Planning
SWP: accumulated/invested corpus से planned withdrawal
Emergency Bucket → Safety & Liquidity
Income Bucket → Regular Cash Flow
Growth Bucket → Long-Term Inflation Protection
Legacy Bucket → Family/Long-Term Goals
Taxation
Practical Approach
Safety + Regular Income + Liquidity + Growth + Inflation Protection
₹15 lakh corpus + expected return + inflation + ₹9,000 monthly withdrawal + investment horizon = कितना sustainable corpus बचेगा?
- Emergency fund
इसलिए retirement corpus से monthly income निकालने से पहले withdrawal rate, investment risk, inflation, taxation और expected time horizon का सही assessment करना सबसे महत्वपूर्ण है।
