If you are an Ex-Serviceman, a family pensioner, a war widow, or a dependent of Army, Navy, or Air Force personnel, this information is important for you. The Government of India, through the Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB), provides a range of financial assistance and welfare grants to support Ex-Servicemen (ESM), widows, and their eligible dependents in areas such as education, marriage, medical treatment, disability support, vocational training, and financial hardship.
The Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB), Ministry of Defence, has now announced the cut-off dates for submission of online applications under the Raksha Mantri Ex-Servicemen Welfare Fund (RMEWF) for the Financial Year 2026-27. All eligible Ex-Servicemen, widows, and dependents are advised to carefully note these deadlines and submit their applications well in time. Applications received after the prescribed cut-off dates are liable to be rejected, resulting in the loss of valuable welfare benefits. Therefore, beneficiaries should ensure that their applications are completed accurately and submitted within the stipulated timelines to avail themselves of the financial assistance provided by KSB.
