CSD Card Renewal Guide
In a major digital step toward improving services for the Armed Forces community, the Indian Armed Forces, in collaboration with Smart Chip Private Limited (SCPL), has launched a dedicated online web portal for the renewal of CSD Smart Cards. SCPL, a leader in smart card identity and integrated software solutions, proudly serves as the official service provider for this initiative.

Purpose of the Portal
This online portal is designed to facilitate existing holders of CSD Smart Cards to apply for replacement/renewal of the following types of cards:
- Grocery Cards
- Liquor Cards
- Dependent Cards
Who Can Use the Online Portal
Existing cardholders looking to renew or replace their cards can use the portal if they meet the eligibility criteria and possess the required documents.
Cases Where Physical Applications Are Required
Certain categories of applicants are still required to apply physically through the Unit/Canteen:
- All first-time or new applicants
- Applicants without a PAN card
- Ex-Servicemen (ESM) with less than 5 years of service
- Cases of marital discord
- BRO/GREF serving personnel
- Serving defence civilians on deputation
- Serving and retired defence civilians from:
- Directorate of Ordnance
- NCC
- Veer Naris / Next of Kin (NoK) of battle casualties (fatal)
- Differently abled dependent children
Documents & Details Required for Online Application
1. All Applicants Must Have:
- PAN Card Number
- Operational mobile number
- Operational email ID
- Smart Card ID and serial number of existing Grocery/Liquor card
- Photographs:
- Individual photo
- Joint photo with spouse
- Dependent’s photo (if applicable)
- Each photo should be in civil dress and not exceed 150 KB
- Signature images (self and dependents, if applicable) – not more than 20 KB each
- Knowledge of current Pay Level as per pay slip/PPO
2. Additional Requirements (Based on Category)

Step-by-Step: Registration Process
- Authentication of Applicant
- Enter Primary Card ID (Grocery/Liquor)
- Enter Serial Number of the Card
- Proceed for verification
- PAN Verification
- Email & Mobile OTP Verification
- Create Password
- Successful Registration
After completing the above steps, applicants can proceed to apply for renewal of their smart cards.
