Eligibility Criteria for APS Kolkata Teaching Posts
Primary Teacher (PRT)
Candidates must possess : Graduation with at least 50% marks in aggregate
- B.El.Ed. or Two-Year D.El.Ed.
- Teachers already serving in APS/APPS before 11 August 2023 with B.Ed. may also apply, subject to NCTE bridge course requirements
- Proficiency in English and Hindi medium teaching
- Knowledge of computer applications
Pre-Primary Teacher (PPRT) : Applicants should have:
- Graduation with minimum 50% marks
- Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education, Pre-School Education, Early Childhood Education or D.E.C.Ed.
- OR B.Ed. (Nursery) from an NCTE-recognized institution
- NTT/ECCE qualification from IGNOU, NIOS or other recognized institutions
APS Kolkata Non-Teaching Staff Eligibility
Librarian
Candidates must possess:
- Bachelor in Library Science (B.Lib.Sc.)
OR - Graduation with Diploma in Library Science
- Computer literacy
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Account Clerk
Eligibility includes:
- Graduate, preferably Commerce Graduate
- Basic computer application qualification
- Knowledge of double-entry accounting systems and accounting software
- Minimum 5 years experience as Accounts Clerk in Defence Services or reputed organizations
Driver
Preference will be given to:
- Ex-Servicemen from Driver category up to 45 years of age
- Holders of valid civil driving licence
- Candidates familiar with Kolkata road network and West Bengal traffic rules
- Applicants capable of minor vehicle fault rectification
