Military and civil pensioners, on reemployment their pay is generally fixed as per DOP&T order in this regard issued from time to time. Central Civil Services Pension Regulations 1979 provides the scope for continuation of service period alongwith previous service length and qualify for pension.
After revision of the CCS Pension Rules in the year 2021, there have been a huge changes in the counting of previous service. In this regard, Govt of India has clarified the issues related to military and civil pensioners who have reeemployed in Central Govt Dept/Ministries.
