Major Relief for CGHS Beneficiaries: 23 Eye Hospitals Freshly Empanelled
In a significant development for Central Government employees, pensioners, and other CGHS beneficiaries, the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) has announced the fresh empanelment of 23 Exclusive Eye Care Centres across Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR).
The empanelment has been approved through an Office Memorandum issued by the Office of the Additional Director, CGHS Headquarters, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, dated 27 May 2026.
Fresh Empanelment Valid for Three Years
According to the Office Memorandum, the empanelled healthcare organizations (HCOs) will remain on the CGHS panel for a period of three years from the date of issue of the order. These hospitals will provide eye care services to eligible CGHS beneficiaries under the terms and conditions prescribed by CGHS.
