Background & Purpose

Every year, 26 July is observed as Kargil Vijay Diwas to honour the valour of the Indian Armed Forces during Operation Vijay (1999). To mark the 26th anniversary, the Ghaziabad district branch of the National Soldiers’ Organisation is hosting a commemorative seminar aimed at reflecting on the strategic, social and moral lessons of the war and inspiring citizens—especially youth—towards national service.
