Urgent Notification on SPARSH Portal : How to check your Identification status online using mobile

SPARSH portal is effectively functioning on disbursement of pension and other aspects of Defence Pension. It is mandatory to put your Life Certificate once in a year, and it may not be necessary to be in November. So, your Life Certificate may be due as on date. In such cases, your pension will be stopped if Life certificate as per guidance available in SPARSH portal, not submitted by 23^rd of this month. Kindly read the instructions on the sparsh which is reproduced below :-

If your Identification/Life Certificate is due on or before August 2023 Please perform Identification/Life Certificate by 20th September 2023 to avoid stoppage of pension.

Following instructions are being given to pensioners For identification:-

On jeevan pramaan portal on digital life certificate, pensioner is required to fill in the following :

1.PDA ; SPARSH
2.PPO No. ; SPARSH PPO No.
3.Account No.; Bank a/c no. (in which pension was being received)

How to Access to SPARSH Portal:-

Pensioners are given login id and password to access SPARSH portal (sparsh.defencepension.gov.in) on their registered email id and password. Any individual whose pension has been migrated on SPARSH and have not received login id and password are requested to register complain on following link; pcdapension.nic.in .

• For any correction/updation in PPO, either initiate update request through your login id & password or contact your RO/HO/Service Hq.

How to check your Life Certificate is due or Not ?

Visit the sparsh portal on https://sparsh.defencepension.gov.in/ and a pop up window will appear as below. You need to click on Alert section – identification/life certificate/migration status “Click here” link. You will be redirected to the next wherein you need to put your any one particular among the details below (a) Bank acct (b) Service Number (c) PPO No (d) ePPO No etc.

You will be shown the result alongwith your next date of Life certificate/ identification status. Now act accordingly.
