You can submit your life certificate using Jivan Praman portal from home using your mobile device only. Submission of life certificate in 5 Different ways
The Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare has issued official instructions dated 20 September 2021, regarding different ways by which a pensioner can submit the annual life certificate. Govt pensioners need to submit life certificate within the period of 01 November to 30 November every year. However pensioners above 80 years of age can submit life certificate from 01 October to 30 November. It may not be possible to avail the Digital Life Certificate system due to various reasons. In this situation, you can submit your life certificate in any one of the 4 alternate ways as mentioned below:
Visit your pension disbursing bank to submit life certificate
This is one of the most common ways of submitting life certificate. You may just visit the pension disbursing bank and submit the Life Certificate form duly filled in your personal particulars and declaration regarding re-marriage and re-employment. The Life Certificate form is always easily available at the bank counter. The bank manager will identify and accept your life certificate instantly. You will get a receipt copy of yur life certificate on success submission to the system.
Submit life certificate from home using Doorstep Banking Alliance Service
This is an alternate way of submitting your life certificate. The Doorstep Banking (DSB) is an alliance between 12 public sector banks. State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab Nationonal Bank (PNB), Bank of Baroda and others banks are presently providing this service. As instructed by the authority, the DSB agent will visit the residence of the pensioner to render the service. The DSB service can be booked by the pensioner through dedicated mobile app, website or toll-free number. This is obviously a paid service. Details of these ways are:

(b) ‘Doorstep Banking’ Mobile App and can be downloaded from Google Playstore.
(c) Toll-free number 18001213721 or 18001037188 can be used to book the DSB service.
Submission through designated official
DOP&PW, Govt of India has issued instrucctions that personal appearance of a pensioner will not be required, if the pensioner submits the life certificate form signed by any ‘designated official’. As per para 14.3 of the Scheme booklet issued by Central Pension Accounting Office (CPAO), if you produce life certificate in the prescribed form, may be exempted from personal appearance. Submit life certificate through Postman from home
The Doorstep Service for submission of Digital Life Certificate through Postman has been launched by Department of Post, during November last year. To submit life certificate using this facility, you should download the Mobile App named Postinfo from Google Play Store.
