OROP arrears have been paid to the eligible and applicable personnel and officers of Indian, Army, Navy & Air Force. Based on the latest formula and OROP Pension table, pension has been revised for all service pensioners, family pensioners and invalid disability pensioners. Those who have been discharged at own request before 15.11.2015 has also been given the benefit of OROP. The third installment is like;ly to be paid as per schedule below :-
OROP 3rd Installment after Diwali by 30 November
Revised schedule of OROP Arrears wef 01.07.2019 will be paid in 4 installments and the 2nd installment has been paid by – 31.08.2023, Third installment will be paid by 30.11.2023 and Fourth Installment by 28.02.2024.
You might have known that the OROP has not been found beneficial for most of the PBOR and a large number of PBOR neither have received any upward revision on account of OROP nor been credited any OROP arrears amount in their bank account.
Those who have received the OROP arrears should know the actual entitlement and calculation of the entire arrears amount allowed due to 2nd revision of OROP effective from 01 July 2019.
As you know that a large number of defence pensioners have already been migrated to SPARSH pension system and remaining are being migrated within a short period of time.
Those who have already migrated to SPARSH pension system may now download the Arrears Slip already available in your SPARSH Profile. The Arrears slip is a comprehensive document comprises of Your pension details, amount paid in 2nd installment and details of monthly pension increased every month starting from 01 July 2019 to 31 December 2022 or a later date as applicable to you. Some have received 10% less amount of arrears.
Now , in this article you will know how to download the arrears slip containing complete month wise calculation of revised pension from 01.07.2019 to 31.12.2022. Step by step process is here :-
Step -1 – Download SPARSH Mobile App on your Android phone (Link available at the bottom of this page) and login using SPARSH User ID and Password. You may also brows the www.sparsh.gov.in and log in using your credential (user ID & Password).
Step-2 – After log in to the SPARSH app, click on My documents and you will find an interface as shown here.
Step 3 – Now click on Pension Slip, you will find a link of Slip like 8_2023 . Now the entire slip of arrears and calculation sheet will be opened in pdf format. You may now keep a copy saved in your mobile/PC.
