Recruitment Notification for SBI clerical post 2022

SBI has released vacancy and started recruitment in the cadre of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre. One candidate can apply for vacancies in one State/UT only. Willing and eligible Candidates can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project. The candidates applying for vacancies of the State/UT, should be thoroughly conversant i.e reading, writing, speaking and understanding in the specified opted local language of that State/UT as per original notification of SBI.

The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process of SBI. Language test will be conducted after qualifying the online main examination but before joining the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be offered appointment. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test. The bank has clearly stated that there is no provision for Inter Circle Transfer / Inter State Transfer for Junior Associates to be recruited.

Pay Scale for SBI Clerical Post Recruitment 2022

Pay Scale : PAY SCALE: Rs.17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550- 1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. The starting Basic Pay is Rs.19900/- (Rs.17900/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates). Ex-servicemen candidates may get pay protection as per rules of Ministry of Finance and IBA subject to fulfillment of the criteria. The total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee payable at Metro like Mumbai will be around Rs.29,000/- per month inclusive of D.A., other allowances at the current rate and two additional increments for newly recruited graduate junior associates

Reservation for Disabled Soldiers in of SBI Clerical Post Recruitment 2022

Reservation for Disabled Soldiers Ex-servicemen : 4.5% of the total vacancies are reserved for Disabled Ex-servicemen and dependents of Servicemen killed in action, clubbed together. First priority in the matter of appointment will be given to the Disabled Ex-Servicemen and second priority will be given to dependents of defense personnel killed in action or severely disabled (with over 50% disability attributable to defence services. Ex-Servicemen who while serving in Armed Forces of the Union were disabled during war or in peace time but their disability being attributable to Military service, shall be treated as Disabled Ex-Servicemen.

Eligibility Criteria of SBI Clerical Post Recruitment 2022

Age Limit – Age Limit: (As on 01.08.2022) Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.08.2022, i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2002 (both days inclusive). Relaxation of age for reserved categories as per Govt Norms. Ag Relaxation for ex-servicemen candidates is equal to length of service rendered in armed forces plus 3 years. Maximum age should not cross 50 Years.

Educational qualification – Essential Academic Qualifications: (As on 30.11.2022): Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 30.11.2022. Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 30.11.2022.

Minimum Educational qualification for Ex-servicemen : Matriculate Ex-servicemen, who have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after having completed not less than 15 years of service in Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible for the post. Such certificates should be dated on or before 30.11.2022.

Selection process of SBI Clerical Post Recruitment 2022

The selection of candidates will be held in two steps .

Step-I is Preliminary exam containing online test of 1. English Language, 2. Numerical Ability and 3. Reasoning ability. Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer. No minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for individual test OR for aggregate score. Section wise marks will not be maintained.

Step-II is Main exam containing online test of 1. General/ Financial Awareness 2. General English English 3. Quantitative Aptitude 4. Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude

Negetive Marking of SBI Clerical Post Recruitment 2022

For main Exam, there will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage marks on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon). Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be as decided by the bank. No minimum qualifying marks for individual subject are prescribed. Section wise marks will not be maintained. Merit list will be drawn State wise, category wise. Candidates qualified in the test (main examination) will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective States and Categories

Date of Examinations for Recruitment in SBI Clerical Post

Preliminary Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of November 2022 and Main Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of December 2022/January 2023
