Dear Sub XXXX your pension under OROP has been revised to INR xxxxxxxx wef 1.7.2019. To view details , please check the My Document Section of your SPARSH account. Notifications for arrear calculations and payment in this regard shall be shared separately.

He asked me that what action required to be taken against this msg :

I suggested him that firstly you need to login to SPARSH portal using your ID and Password. Accordingly he did this and found that he has been issued a Corrigendum PPO. Wherein both the pension has been mentioned . i.e his disability element and service pension. The revised pension and old pension i.e pension drawn as on January 2023 also found there.

After checking the PPO, he started calculation of his arrears amount wef 01.07.2019. I suggested him that, you need not to be worried of the arrears. Suddenly, yesterday he got the arrears amount 1^st installment also. If you are waiting for arrears, it is assured that you will get soon, as a large number of the Armed Forces pensioners have not received their arrears amount till date. Most of the SPARSH Migrated pensioners have received the arrears and only bank pensioners are waiting.

Defence pension payment system has been entirely changed within a couple of years. You might have experienced late payment of pension in your bank account since last few months due to implementation of SPARSH. This system is being implemented in phased manner for all defence civilian and Combatant personnel and officers.

If you dont have SPARSH User ID Password or unable to login SPARSH Portal, you may follow this process. Just follow the process given here and you will get your New SPARSH PPO Number. How to check your SPARSH PPO Number ?

Step –I : Just go to official website of SPARSH Portal of PCDAhttps://pcdapension.nic.in/pcda/view-sparshppo.php. You may click on the link given below (after step-3).

Step – II : Select Option for search SPARSH PPO. Select any of these :

e-PPO No or
Regimental No/IC No or
Bank Account No

Step – III : Now put the number of (Bank A/c/ePPO/Regtl No etc) whatever you opted and put the captcha result at image verification box. Then press on submit button

The new PPO number will appear mow on the screen.

Once you login to the SPARSH Portal, you may find the My Documents. Just click there, you will find Corrigendum PPO there. Just click on it and download to your PC or mobile and opn to check your revised pension.

Now come to the point of Arrears.

When will you get the OROP-2 Arrears ? Everyone who got corrigendum PPO, are eagerly waiting for their Arrears to be credited in bank.

According to the information received from reliable sources, calculation of Arrears are under progress and 1^st installment has already been been paid alongwith the Pension at the end of Feb 2023 and begining of Mar 2023. MA with Hon’b;le Supreme Court for payment of arrears at one go has been finalised on and according to the final orders of DESW, it will be paid as per revised schedule of OROP Arrears payment available in our website. Those cases with PMR Release after 01.07.2014 may be held up due to dispute in clarification by the Govt.
