PCDA Advisory – SPARSH Pensioners may Submit Life Certificate in Bank

As usual, every year in November, SPARSH sends numerous msg everyday on your mobile phone and email also regarding submission of Life Certificate. Life Certificate is the most important factor for a pensioner. You might have experienced that SPARSH portal not always function smoothly to accept life certificate.

However, now days it is quite responsive and you can put your digital life certificate instantly on SPARSH Portal. Though, as reported, thousands of veterans have failed to access the Life Certificate submission process on SPARSH. In this situation need not to be worried at all.

You may now submit your life certificate in Bank also as earlier. But remember that your pension sanctioning authority and disbursing authority should be correctly mentioned while submitting it through Bank. Both should be SPARSH- PCDA (P) , Allahabad for all ranks of all 3 wings of Armed Forces Pensioners.

If you are submitting your life certificate in Bank, must mention SPARSH PCDA Allahabad at the top of the application/ Life certificate form and put your new SPRSH PPO number. Enclose your latest pension slip and PPO if available. You may also submit your life certificicate digitally through Jeevn Praman. Detailed process available in this website.

Sub: Facility for Identification/Life Certificate for Migrated Pensioners by the Banks

In continuation to this office letter of even no. dated 13.10.2022 & 07.01.2023. It is intimated that the competent authority has decided that the banks may further provide the above facility, till 31.12.2023. to the pensioners migrated to SPARSH and turn up to submit their life certificate and list of cases may be shared in the same format as provided earlier. The format is provided below for ready reference.

Format to life certificate details:

• It is therefore requested to provide the identification facility to the migrated pensioners. who will visit bank branches in person. The details may be shared on weekly basis preferably on first day of every week. So that the same may be updated in SPARSH.
• In addition, for pensioners who will submit their life certificate through Jeevan Pramaan in favour of bank. their data may be extracted and clubbed with the data of mama pensioners in the same format.
