OROP 2nd Installment This Month : DESW Notification

OROP second revision whcich was due since July 2019 has been caried out by the Defence Pension Authority and the arrears amout for period from July 2019 to Dec 2022 has been calculated by the PCDA. The total arrears is being paid paid to all kind of pensioners as per revised schedule of OROP arrears payment.

According to the DESW notification, the remaining amount of OROP arrears will be paid at full and final for the senior citizen Defence pensioners by 30 June 2023.

According to the revised schedule of OROP arrears payment, the category wise payment schedule for Defence Pensioners are as below :-

(a) For Family Pensioners and Gallantary Awarad winners – Total OROP arrears wef 01.07.2019 will be paid by 30 April 2023.

(b) For Senior Citizens aged over 70 Years – Total OROP arrears wef 01.07.2019 will be paid by 30 June 2023.

(c) For remaining all Armed Fporces Pensioners – OROP Arrears wef 01.07.2019 will be paid in 3 more installments and the 2nd installment will be paid by – 31.08.2023, Third installment by 30.11.2023 and Fourth Installment by 28.02.2024.
