What is FVA and what is role of FVA ?

FVA is a PAN India organisation which has integrated all the Exserviceman Association to achieve their common goal which includes :
(a) Real implementation of OROP for JCOs OR

(b) Remove disparity in pay and promotion – MSP Should be equal for all Ranks

(c) Uniform Promotion Policy for all ranks – Time bound promotion is applicable to Commissioned officers as after 3 years – Capt, after 6 Years – Major, – After 13 Years of service – Lt Col . Whereas a Sepoy still remains Sepoy even after 17 years of service. No uniform time bound promotion policy with regards to length of service. So, policy should be equal and time bound promotion like – after 3 years of service – Nk , After 6 Years – Hav, after 13 Years – Nb Sub and so on should be introduced for all ranks. NC(E) should be inducted in all units of Indian Army and reduce the combatant strength as 15% of manpowe is engaged in general cleaning / Lanbour type of tssk including Helper/Sahayak Duties for officers.

(d) Pension of Armed Forces should be refixed as 70% of Last RE (Basic Pay + MSP + CP) as it was earlier existed.

(e) Pay fixation of reemployed Central Civil Services Employees including state/central PSU / Autonomous body etc.

(f) Misc demands as poer charter of demand of various ESM/ Veterans Associations.
