SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF PENURY, ORPHAN & 100%
DISABLED CHILD GRANT FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM AFFDF

1. Please refer to this office letter No. 195/VVelfare/Misc/2023-24 dated 15 Mar 2023 (copy attached), forwarded to all RSBs pertaining to timely submission of applications for the following schemes:-

Financial Assistance Penury Renewal FY 2023-24
Financial Assistance Orphan Renewal FY 2023-24
Financial Assistance 100% Disabled Child Renewal FY 2023-24

2. Vide Para 1 of letter under reference, it was iterated that for renewal the above schemes, the applicants are required to upload their life certificates online on KSB Website www.ksb.gov.in between 01⁵i Dec to 31st Mar of the current FY. It was also reiterated that life certificates will not be accepted manually.

3. Advisory for Renewal of Penury, Orphan & 100% Disabled Child Grant. The following is reiterated:-

Applicants whose initial applications have already been sanctioned in FY 202223 & earlier will be entitled to apply for renewal of the above schemes between 1st Dec 2023 to 31st Mar 2024 for FY 2023-24 and similarly every subsequent Financial Year till they are eligible.
Any applicant who is granted initial sanction in current FY can apply for renewal from subsequent FY between 01st Dec to 31st Mar only by uploading his life certificate.
In case of demise of applicant, his widow can apply for initial sanction wef 01st Apr of the next Financial Year,
RSBs are requested to instruct their Zila Sainik Boards to advise pre-sanctioned beneficiaries (ESMNVidows) under their jurisdiction to submit life certificates online duly signed between 01st Dec to 31st Mar on KSB Website www.ksb.gov.in.

‘ 4. In view of the above, all RSBs and ZSBs are requested not to countersign any Life Certificate and not recommend any application for renewal of Penury & 100% Disabled Child, Orphan Grant after lapse of last date for submission of Life Certificate ie 31st Mar.

5. All RSBs/ZSBs are also requested to process the pending applications under Marriage grant at the earliest please.The contents of this letter may please be circulated to all ZSBs for wide publicity to all ESM in their respective areas of jurisdiction.
