Kendriya Vidyala is one of the Premier Secondary Schools of India. Admission guidelines issued by KVS to regulate admissions in the Kendriya Vidyalayas with effect from the academic session 2022-23 & onwards. In this article you will know about admission guidelines in Kendriya Vidyalaya 2022-23.

Online Registration for Admission to Class I in Kendriya Vidyalayas for the Academic Year 2022-23 will commence at 10:00 am on 28.02.2022 and will close at 07:00 pm on 21.03.2022. The Admission details are available here

PRIORITIES IN ADMISSION TO KENDRIYA VIDYALAYAS UNDER CIVIL/DEFENCE SECTOR:

Children of transferable and non-transferable Central government employees and children of ex- servicemen. This will also include children of Foreign National officials, who come on deputation or transfer to India on invitation by Govt. of India.
Children of transferable and non-transferable employees of Autonomous Bodies / Public Sector Undertaking/Institute of Higher Learning of the Government of India.
Children of transferable and non-transferable State Government employees.
Children of transferable and non-transferable employees of Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings/Institute of Higher Learning of the State Governments.
Children from any other category including the children of Foreign Nationals who are located in India due to their work or for any personal reasons. The children of Foreign Nationals would be considered only in case there are no Children of Indian Nationals waitlisted for admission.
Note: Preference in Admission to wards will be based on the number of transfers of the parents in the last 7 years.

PRIORITIES I ADMISSION TO KENDRIYA VIDYALAYAS UNDER PUBLIC SECTOR UNDERTAKINGS/ INSTITUTES OF HIGHER LEARNING:

Children and grandchildren of employees of the Project Sector/ Institutes of Higher Learning which are the sponsors of the Vidyalaya, Children of Project employees & Post Graduate students who are working on long term research projects, Children of regular Council of Wardens (COW) employees and children and grandchildren of retired employees.
Note: Preference in Admission will be given to children of serving employees, grand children of serving employees and children and grandchildren of retired employees in that order.

ELIGIBLE AGE FOR ADMISSION

A Child must be 6 years old as on 31st March in the academic year in which admission is sought for Class I. (Child born on 1st April should also be considered.)

Notice of admission is as below :-

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sagathan has published the Online Registration for Admission to Class I in Kendriya Vidyalayas for the Academic Year 2022-23. Online Registration will commence at 10:00 am On 28.02.2022 and will close at 07:00 pm On 21.03.2022. The Admission details are available in the official website of the KVS. Minimum age for admission in class-I will be 6 years as per NEP 2020.

The official Android Mobile App for KVS Online Admission for Class I for the Academic Year 2022-23 and instructions for downloading arid installing the App will be available at https://kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in/apps/ The app will be available at the above URL and also at the Google Play Store. Parents are requested to go through the instructions for using the portal and mobile app carefully before using them.

Registration for Class II and above will be done 08.04.2022 (Friday) to 16.04.2022 (Saturday) upto 04:00 pm if vacancies exist (in offline mode).

For Class XI, Registration forms may be downloaded from Vidyalaya Website as per the schedule for admission 2022-23 available on KVS (HQ) Website (https://kvsangathan.nic.in)

Reckoning of age for all Classes shall be as on 31.03.2022. Reservation of seats will be as per KVS Admission Guideline available on the Website (https://kvsangathan.nic.in)

Under present situation of COVID -i9, the directions issued by Competent Authority (Central/State/Local) are to be followed. Accordingly, the parents are requested not to visit Kendriya Vidyalayas physically and avoid gathering. All information regarding Admission, Registration form will be available on Vidyalaya/KVS (HQ) website under common document for download.

For class II and above, kindly fill the Registration form, Scan it and sent it to concerned KV through email only.
