Imp Istruction on SPARSH Data Amendment with PPO Generation

As per data available in the SPARSH Portal, approx 30 Lakh Defence pensioners including DSC and Defence civilians  have been migrated from Bank CPPC/ PDA to SPARSH SYSTEM and remaining will be migrated very soon within a few weeks. 

You might have already been migrated to SPARSH and received your SPARSH user ID and Password . If you have applied to endorse or amend /change any data in Service Records and received PART-II Orders/PORs/NAVPEN Orders and then applied again to amend endorse in the PPO, YOU WILL  NOT BE GIVEN CORRIGENDUM PPO. 

PCDA is not sending physical hard copies of PPO anymore, instead, they are changing the wrong data in their system and endorsing in the SPARASH PPO directly. 

SO, DO NOT WAIT FOR CORRIGENDUM PPO TO GET CORRECT DOB/NAME OF YOUR WIFE OR OTHER CORRECTIONS. 

When you’re pension is transferred to SPARSH, then log in to SPARSH website and check THAT DATA has been corrected and updated in the SPARSH PPO. 

If the SPARSH PPO is also having wrong data, then write a request to update data and upload a scanned copy of the Part-II Order in the SPARSH website. SPARSH PPO will be amended and you will be intimated by SMS and Email. 

Currently, there are plenty of errors in SPARSH EPPOs. Don’t take any action now. Wait till April/May to get SPARSH software upgraded and hopefully by then all data will be amended. If not, we will take up the case as required.
