Change in Pension System is brought to the defence now. The powerful pension administration system named SPARSH portal has already been rolled up with the objective of empowering a Defence Pensioners with regard to their pension sanction to disbiursement and grievance disposal mechanism. This is a step to establish an error free system to disburse pension to the defence pensioners effectively. This portal ensures that the pensioner is in control of his pension account right from the time he applies to avail his pension. The Pensioner is allocated a unique SPARSH PPO account once his digitized audited pension declare is prepared for forwarding to PCDA (Pensions) for issue of Pension Payment Order.
PCDA is now all setup to control your total Pension matter i.e Pension Sanction, Disbursement, Grievance redressal, Automation and all pension related matters of Soldiers and civilians. It has been notice that due to lack of basic IT knowledge it may not be feasible to all existing pensioners to login the SPARSH and administer as required. In such case, the PCDA has established Local SPARSH Service centre to provide instant help and support to our under privileged pensioners. It may be helpfull for all segment of Armed Forces Pensioners.
